The Boxy Jacket is a classic and versatile pattern with bound edges and clean boxy lines to show off this gorgeous Japanese linen fabric. The jacket looks fab with a pair of jeans for a casual look.
If you're experienced, why not go bold with a pattern hack and make it quilted.
This fabric is a printed linen from Japan and once it's gone, it's gone! It is made of 100% linen and is incredibly soft and delicate to the touch, with a subtle sheen. The lining fabric is an organic cotton voile and matches the linen to perfection. The voile is a light weight fabric so the jacket is ideal for the summer months, unless you quilt it and then it'll be marvellous all year round. The kit also includes a tutorial on how to make continuous bias binding from the linen fabric.
